Please register on the PTO website beginning January 7th at 9:00pm.

Please be aware that some courses have historically filled within minutes of registration opening.

You must be a paid PTO member to register your child for an enrichment class.

If a course is filled that your child is interested in, please email the PTO to be added to the waitlist.

All classes are $50 plus an additional fee for supplies for some classes which are paid during registration.

Classes will be offered 1 day a week for six weeks.

Building Birdhouses with Ms. Krieg
(Tuesdays)
Grades: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th
Tuesdays - January 21, 28; February 4, 18, 25; March 4
Cost: $70
Class Size: 12ppl

The class will build different bird houses each week out of different materials. One week the students will use wood, hammer, and nails. Another week the students will use porcelain clay. Another week they will use popsicle sticks. Each week the students will use a new material to build a new birdhouse or bird feeder. The students will paint them and add details as well.
Cook with a Book with Mrs. Phillips
(Tuesdays)

Students will enjoy a hands-on cooking experience that is themed based on a story. Students will gain self confidence as they mix, measure and pour to create delicious snacks and desserts. Unfortunately, this course is not for students with food allergies.
Board Games Galore! with Ms. Thompson

Your school day is over...now it's time to play your favorite games with your friends! You can choose between Jenga, Connect Four,Guess Who, Trouble, Sorry, Perfection, Tic-tac-toe, Checkers, Legos, Uno, a variety of card games and more! Bring your own drink/snack and we will play music, relax, and have fun!
Talent Show with Mrs. Randel & Mrs.Prendergast

Cartooning (Advanced) with Mr. Petosa

The students will dive into a few different types of hand building techniques with
porcelain. The student will create a mug, a bowl, a cup and possibly one other
item to fire in the kiln, glaze and bring home. These students will learn about the
techniques and different stages of ceramics.

Welcome to the BES Littles LEGO Club! Students will have three times as much fun when there are three ways to build! Each student will receive a creative toy set that will let them put the model together in three different ways! Each Lego set comes equipped with Lego pieces that will allow students to build 3 different objects/figures. Students will work through our 6 weeks together to build the 3 objects/figures in their Lego set and we will document our creations along the way! Students will experience a whole new adventure with a wide range of different options to suit all creative styles and stories. The possibilities are endless! Students will take home one set/completed LEGO creation at the end of our time together.

Scrapbooking club is about crafting and documenting memories. It involves taking books with blank pages and adding photos, memorabilia, journaling, and embellishments. Each week students will learn a new design concept, discuss themes, and different journaling techniques. It is a great hands-on activity where we get to work together and get to know one another through sharing, creating, and documenting fun memories!

Amazing Artists with Mrs. Dymek

Anyone can be an artist! Art is any form of expression or imagination. Some artists are painters, others create sculptures or write songs and movies. There is no right or wrong way to make art. Join me in exploring different artists over the six week course, learning about their life and background through story/video clips. Each week students will produce a work of art or complete a craft, drawing, or painting inspired by the artist. Additionally students will participate in center activities working on fine motor skills, working memory, visual discrimination, math, literacy skills, and so much more!
