Winter 2026 Enrichment Classes 

  • Please register on the PTO website beginning January 6th at 8:30pm.

  • Please be aware that some courses have historically filled within minutes of registration opening.

  • You must be a paid PTO member to register your child for an enrichment class.

  • If a course is filled that your child is interested in, please email the PTO to be added to the waitlist.

  • All classes are $50 plus an additional fee for supplies for some classes which are paid during registration.

  • Classes will be offered 1 day a week for six weeks.

  • CLASSES RUN FROM 3:00-4:00pm.

Busy Beaders with Ms. Magnotta
(Tuesdays)

Grades: K & 1st
Tuesdays - January 20, 27; February 3, 17, 24; March 3

In Busy Beaders, students will explore their creativity as they design and make
their own colorful bracelets, keychains, etc! This hands-on class helps children
build fine motor skills, practice patterns, and express their individuality through
art. Come join the fun where every bead tells a story!

Cook with a Book with Mrs. Phillips
(Tuesdays)

Students will enjoy a hands-on cooking experience that is themed based on a
story. Students will mix, measure and pour to build self-confidence as they
successfully follow a recipe to create delicious snacks and desserts. Create these
recipes at home as students will bring home a recipe book at the end of class with
the stories we read and recipes we created. *Unfortunately, this is not a class for children with food allergies.

Bead Pet Keychains with Mrs. Dymek
(Wednesdays)

In this fun and creative class, students will design their very own beaded keychain using colorful pony beads! Students can follow simple, kid-friendly project guides to create adorable bead animals like cats, frogs, dragonflies, and ladybugs using colorful pony beads. Each guide shows step-by-step how to arrange the beads on the cord to bring each creature to life. After trying a few of the sample animals, students can even use their imagination to design their very own custom bead pets or explore patterns and create something unique! This activity helps build fine motor skills, pattern-making, and creativity while giving kids a cute keychain buddy to take home.

AHOY MATEY! Get ready to go on a Pirate Adventure and join us for some swashbuckling fun! Each week we will explore through stories, games and crafts, all things Pirate. Hop aboard our ship and learn some Pirate lingo (ARRGH), listen to a pirate story, enjoy a pirate snack, and make a pirate craft. Each week leads us closer to the treasure. We will culminate our fun at the last class by going on a Treasure Hunt. Can you follow the clues to find the treasure? Join now, our ship is

Beaded Bracelet Making with Ms. Bucolo

Students will design and create their own colorful bracelets while learning about patterns, color choices, and fine motor skills. Bracelet making will be a fun and relaxing way for the kids to express themselves, spend time with friends, and bring their little creations home.

The students will play and experiment with clay. They will learn 3 clay techniques and create a piece of pottery using each technique. The students will also learn about glazes and paint their pottery to bring home. Hopefully, the students will complete 3 successful pieces.

Step into the magical world of Hogwarts in this Harry Potter themed enrichment program! Young witches and wizards will craft their own wands, study magical creatures, brew potions, practice beginner charms, and explore Herbology through hands-on, creative activities in Harry Potter's wizarding world. Each session combines reading, crafts, imagination, and teamwork to bring the magic of Hogwarts to life!

Welcome to the BES Littles LEGO Club! Students will have three times as much fun when there are three ways to build! Each student will receive a creative toy set that will let them put the model together in three different ways! Each Lego set comes equipped with Lego pieces that will allow students to build 3 different objects/figures. Students will work through our 6 weeks together to build the 3 objects/figures in their Lego set and we will document our creations along the way! Students will experience a whole new adventure with a wide range of different options to suit all creative styles and stories. The possibilities are endless! Students will take home one set/completed LEGO creation at the end of our time together.
