
Spring 2025 Enrichment Classes

Please register on the PTO website beginning March 25th at 8:30pm.

Please be aware that some courses have historically filled within minutes of registration opening.

You must be a paid PTO member to register your child for an enrichment class.

If a course is filled that your child is interested in, please email the PTO to be added to the waitlist.

All classes include an additional fee for supplies for some classes which are paid during registration.

Classes will be offered 1 day a week for six weeks.

CLASSES RUN FROM 3:00-4:00pm.

Parents must indicate and remind their child(ren) who will be picking them up, or if they will be attending aftercare.

If a child will be absent, please notify both the homeroom teacher and the enrichment teacher via email.

For safety purposes, the adult picking up the child must exit their vehicle and retrieve the child directly from the teacher. ​
Board Games Galore! with Mrs. Thompson

You can choose between Jenga, Connect Four, Guess Who, Trouble, Sorry, Perfection, Tic-Tac-Toe, Checkers, Legos, Uno, and a variety of card games, puzzles and more! Bring your own drink/snack, we will listen to music, relax, and have fun!
Cook with a Book with Mrs. Phillips
(Tuesdays)
Grades: K, 1st, 2nd

Students will enjoy a hands-on cooking experience that is themed based on a story. Students will gain self-confidence as they mix, measure and pour to create delicious snacks and desserts. Each student will bring home a recipe book at the end of the class with all the recipes we created. Unfortunately, this course is not for students with food allergies.
Beaded Bracelet Making with Ms. Bucolo

Students will design and create their own colorful bracelets while learning about patterns, color choices, and fine motor skills. Bracelet making will be a fun and relaxing way for the kids to express themselves, spend time with friends, and bring their little creations home.
Friendship Club with Ms. Smith

This enrichment club focuses on helping students build positive friendships, social skills, and empathy in a supportive environment. Students will participate in engaging activities such as cooperative games, creating friendship bracelets, sensory jars, and mindful coloring to practice communication and teamwork. The goal is to help students feel more confident in social situations while developing meaningful connections with their peers.
Eco Club with Ms. Barra

Students will learn about native plants that attract butterflies and other beneficial pollinators by observing our school’s National Wildlife Federation (NWF) Certified Habitat - a native wildflower garden that was established 4 years ago by Mr. Yee’s Spring ’22 Eco Class. The garden will be manicured and cleaned up for another season of brightly colored pollinators! We will observe rapidly growing plants in the classroom and understand a plant's life cycle. Finally, students will plant spring flowers in the school’s courtyard garden boxes.

K–4 Cheerleading Enrichment Class is a fun and energetic introduction to the fundamentals of cheer. Students will learn age-appropriate cheers, basic jumps, sharp arm motions, and beginning cheer techniques in a positive and supportive environment. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, coordination, teamwork skills, and school spirit while developing strong performance skills and hopefully a love for cheerleading!

Get ready for a pirate adventure! Join us for some swashbuckling fun as we explore all things pirate. We will listen to a story, enjoy a pirate snack and make a pirate craft. We will culminate our fun in our last class by going on a treasure hunt. Hurry, sign up now, our ship is sailing soon!!
